Before

Before

This patient’s gums had receded from her upper teeth. This was most noticeable on her front incisor. The tooth was sensitive to hot, cold, and the pressure of brushing. The recession of the upper gum created an uneven and unattractive smile line.

Dr. Sam performed a subepithelial connective tissue graft which covered the exposed roots and provided an excellent color matching to her existing gums. Next he performed an occlusal (bite) adjustment to refine the tooth-to-tooth contact.

Finally, he shaped the two front teeth to give a more feminine smile! Smile Re-Design at its best!
