Before
Dental implants can be a key element in restoring general health. Many people do not realize the impact that poor dental hygiene can have on how they feel, or, the likelihood of triggering more serious disease. The use of dental implants can make subsequent dental hygiene much easier, not to mention the smile benefits they create.
This patient had severe periodontal disease and extensive calculus. The diseased tissue and calculus was so severe that it caused significant bone loss and mobility of the three lower front teeth. Also, due to the infection, the patient did not feel well, was lethargic and had a low grade temperature.

After
Dr. Sam removed the calculus and performed full mouth periodontal treatment. He removed the front three lower teeth and replaced them with three dental implants.
The patient feels healthy and is proud of his smile! With regular cleanings in our office, and because he can brush and floss his dental implants like normal teeth, he is maintaining good oral hygiene! With some tooth whitening, he’ll have a Hollywood smile!
